Addison Duke graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with a degree in Civil Engineering and spent the next 8 years living and working in Asia. Soon upon arriving in Asia he picked up painting as an outlet for creative expression.

From his start, Addison was enamored with the abstract expressionist movement, with the bulk of his work coming out of this influence.

Relocating to Birmingham in 2021, Addison secured a studio space and began painting full time. He is currently represented by Design Supply Shop (Birmingham), and Paloma & Co. (Houston).
