Carol received her BA in art education from Birmingham Southern College and taught at the high school level for four years. After taking several years off to raise three sons, she began painting twenty years ago. Carol loves the buttery consistency and forgiveness of oil paints. Her goal is to keep her works fresh and contemporary with great color, light, and loose brushwork. She works in an impressionistic style of thick and thin brush strokes.

Carol travels the southeast and sells her work at fine art festivals. She enjoys traveling and meeting her patrons in person. She has worked with several renowned teachers and teaches workshops herself. Carol lives in Vestavia with her husband Dan.
