Caroline Gray attended Vanderbilt University where she graduated with a degree in European History and Studio Art. In 2019, Gray received her MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Fine Art and has since worked full time as an artist in Birmingham, AL.

Most recently, she completed a three-month program at the Arts Students League in New York with personal mentorship from Amy Weiskopf and Mary Beth McKenzie. Gray is represented by Design Suppy (Birmingham, AL), Chairish (online), Well and Wonder (Louisville, KY), LEIF (Brooklyn, NY), and Mosaic (Chattanooga, TN).
